After 4 weeks of Spring racing in Australia, we now have results on 50 black type races.
Two stallions dominate the stallion cluster series being Mr Prospector [14 winners] and Danehill [10 winners] in the black type race category,

Throughout the world, Mr Prospector and Storm Cat "clusters" dominate "Group 1" winners.
However, It is a different story in Australia, the volume of stallions within the Danehill cluster indicates he will always have most winners on any given Saturday for overall winners across the 40-50 races each week in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide

LEADING FEMALE TAIL CLUSTERS - nick 19 from Origin
As previously noted, Pharos will always be the leader in this section by sheer volume of broodmares from that stallion stem at nick 19 represented at the bottom of fourth generation [dam - grand dam - great grand dam].
The battle within of the big three lines at nick 21 is interesting and Nasrullah provided most winners in week 3.

Over half [8 of the 13] of the black type winners, were represented by Pharos line stallions at the female tail line represented at the bottom of fourth generation [dam - grand dam - great grand dam].
Nearctic had 4 and Nasrullah & Royal Charger had 2.
Princequillo also had 2 black type winners in week 4, being Pride of Jenni & Makarena.

After 197 races in Spring….
Danehill dominates “all” runners leaders board after 4 weeks:
So the theory of “throw enough darts and you will hit the board more’ is true on Saturday metropolitan race meeting throughout Australia in Spring.
Danehill has 56 winners from 197 races, so he dominates at 28% [or 1 in every 4 races are won by a Danehill cluster stallion].
Compare this to his closest opposition in Mr Prospector, he has 29 winners at 14%] pr 1 in every 7 races are won by the Mr Prospector cluster stallion].

Well this shows a different story on winners and strike rates:
MR PROSPECTOR. 14 winners from 50 races or 28% of all black type races
DANEHILL 10 winners from 50 races or 20%

An interesting side note to this table of “stallion clusters” are the individual winning stallions after 4 weeks of Saturday metropolitan racing in Australia.
The Danehill stallion cluster has only one individual sire on the leader board being SNITZEL
So my earlier point on the “volume” of runners from Danehill, will have him lead overall - however it’s clear that many other stallions lead the individual metro winners over the Spring.
