Highly regarded as the world's best Stallion, Dubawi is now producing a juggernaut of stallion sons that are producing G1 winners.

The mighty Too Darn Hot has started his stallion career with only 2 crops on the racetrack that is unparalleled by any other son of Dubawi, which makes best offspring in Broadsiding a multi-million dollar future international stallion prospect.

He is a future article as his career is spiraling.

I want to focus on Dubawi's other son ZARAK who is emerging as a future star stallion after only 4 crops on the ground.

You can see through his own 5 gen pedigree and then the comparison to other Dubawi stallions, that after only 4 crops - he will be special !

Omnipotent of female families 9-2-4

Zarak is omnipotent of female [FF] no 9, as his dam Zarkava and Sire Dubawi are both [FF] no 9. Normally a trait/pedigree that gives the offspring a chance of greatness.

Not only was Zarak a great horse, he started his breeding career with a bang and you can see from the marked pedigree below that he carries strong dupes of FF 9 + FF's 2 & 4.

OMNIPOTENT of female family 9 [x 3 times]

  • Zarak - his dam Zarakava and sire Dubawi and both 9.

  • Zarkava - her dam Zarkasha and sire Zamindar are both 9

  • Zarna - her dam Zahra and her sire Shernazar are both 9

OMNIPOTENT of female family 2

  • Secrettame - [dam of Gone West] her dam Tamerett and sire Secretariat and both 2.

OMNIPOTENT of female family 4

  • Colorado Dancer - [dam of Dubai Millenium] her dam Fall Aspen and sire Shareef Dancer and both 4.

You can see below that the G1 winning offspring of Zarak bring a strong influence of FF 2-4-9, which is no co-incidence.

This is how Zarak compares to other current stallions that are omnipotent of FF-9

ree

Only Nathaniel carries a dupe of FF-9 [also through mares, the mighty Basin and Delta].

The best way to compare young stallions is to look at the equivalent amount of crops for any older stallion and see where they compare on winners and group winners etc.

  • 3 x [Group 1] in Haya Zark, Zagrey & Metropolitan

ZARAK - TOO DARN HOT

ree

It is unfair to compare any stallion's early career with Too Darn Hot, as he is widely regarded as one of the hottest young stallions in the world, however:

TOO DARN HOT

  • 206 runners - 90 winners (first 2 crops @ 43% w-t-r)

  • 9 Group winners (10% gw-t-w)

  • 2 x [Group 1] in Broadsiding & Fallen Angel

ZARAK

  • 72 runners - 49 winners (first 2 crops @ 68% w-t-r)

  • 4 Group winners (8% gw-t-w)

  • 0 x [Group 1]

The majority of Zarak's runners are based in France and Germany, as such it is no surprise that he is in the top 5 and top 10 for winners on their general sires list.

Furthermore, he is the leading stallion on both charts with crops of 4 or less.

FRANCE

ree

GERMANY

ree

He only has 1 active runner in Australia:

  • Karburan

    • won 2 of his 5 races in France (over 2100 + 2400), then had 300+ day spell before debuting in Australia - currently trained by Busuttin & Young stable.

    • In Australia, he has had 5 starts, having run 3rd at his last start over 1600m at Sale.

FF no 9 and the Melbourne Cup

I would think more Australian buyers should look at Zarak's promising young stock with strong staying pedigrees for the major distance races held in Australia, look at the amazing record of FF-9 in the last 20 years..... winning 12 of the last 21 running's of the Melb Cup.

The afore mentioned data on Zarak - clearly shows that he carries the triplicate strain of omnipotent FF-9, the most dominant and successful female family number of Melbourne Cup winners in recent years.

ree

Treat this as a time capsule moment that I will review in the years ahead in reference to the great heights that the mighty Zarak will reach.
